Image360 Winston-Salem Southwest announced it has expanded its equipment capabilities by investing in a new, multi-functional MUTOH printer and a Laguna laser cutter designed for precise cutting. These advanced technologies will significantly broaden the range of signage and graphic solutions the Center can offer to local businesses and customers.
The Center is owned by Steve Tuch, who has operated the business for nearly 20 years. Drawing on his engineering background, Steve has built a trusted company known for handling large, locally driven projects for hospitals, churches and even aerospace companies. He explains that the decision to invest in this new technology was directly inspired by client needs. Close collaboration with a diverse client base revealed opportunities to expand capabilities and better meet their specific signage requirements.
“Over the years, I’ve noticed more clients asking for specialized solutions that can truly enhance their buildings and facilities,” Steve said. “Investing in the new laser cutter and MUTOH printer has allowed us to broaden the range of services we offer and meet those unique needs. With my engineering background, I enjoy diving into these complex projects, especially the unusual opportunities like creating parts for aerospace clients. Having the right technology and a skilled team means we can take on these one-of-a-kind challenges and keep learning something new with every job.”
With the addition of a new high-precision laser cutter and state-of-the-art MUTOH flatbed printer, Image360 Winston-Salem Southwest can now provide an even wider range of advanced signage and graphics solutions to the surrounding community. The laser cutter handles materials such as corrugated plastic, acrylic and most plastics up to half an inch thick—ideal for creating everything from custom signage to industrial components. The MUTOH printer offers raised printing for ADA-compliant braille, textured graphics and vibrant, high-color-accuracy prints on substrates ranging from textiles to promotional materials.
Early projects with the new technology include producing 15,000 laser-cut industrial parts for an aerospace company and printing 1,000 braille signage inserts for a local hospital. These enhanced capabilities position Image360 in Southwest Winston-Salem to serve highly specialized projects and nontraditional industries with precision and creativity.
