Charles Payne

Client Experience Officer/Owner

Charles is a 14-year veteran of the sign and graphic industry having held marketing and product development positions with a manufacturer and distributor. He earned an MBA from Clemson University and a B.A. from Eastern Illinois University. Charles enjoys watching the Clemson Tigers football team and the St. Louis Cardinals (sorry Royals fans) and he enjoys brewing beer in his free time. Charles and his wife Amy live in the Kansas City area and spend most of their free time chasing after their two small children.

Amy Ortman

Comptroller/Owner

Although you won't find Amy at the design center on a daily basis she is still an integral part of its operation. Amy is a physician at a Kansas City area hospital. Amy earned an M.D. degree from the University of South Dakota and a B.A. degree from Newton College in central Kansas. She enjoys gardening and composting in her free time.

Lacy Rygiol

Inside Sales Representative and Social Media Manager

Lacy is a transplant to the Kansas City area and has resided in the KC metro area since 2011. She joins us with a Bachelor’s degree in Health and Behavioral Sciences from the University of Central Arkansas and several years of service experience in both public and academic libraries alike. When Lacy is not finding the perfect solution for your signage needs, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing music.

Austin Schmidt

Designer

Austin was born and raised in Kansas City, and has been doodling since before he could write, thus starting his passion of the arts. He is a graphic design graduate of Johnson County Community College, with over 5 years of design experience. He enjoys being creative and seeing projects come to life. Once a city boy, he now enjoys a peaceful life living in a small village in the country, building a small homestead with his wife and two beautiful daughters. In his free time he can be found exploring various parks and museums around town with his family.

Rusty Durio

Production & Installation Technician

Rusty lives and works in Midtown Kansas City and wouldn't have it any other way. He has an Associates in Graphic Design and a knack for creative problem solving. He enjoys putting his skills to use to create, produce and install fantastic printed pieces and signs. When he's not in the shop, he's probably on his skateboard or eating pizza and watching Netflix.
