Vanderlande is the global market leader for value-added logistic process automation at airports, and in the parcel market, as well as a leading supplier of process automation solutions for warehouses.
Vanderlande’s baggage handling systems move 3.7 billion pieces of luggage around the world per year; that’s 10.1 million per day! Its systems are active in 600 airports including 13 of the world’s top 20. More than 39 million parcels are sorted by its systems every day, which have been installed for the world’s leading distribution and ecommerce companies, including UPS, FedEx and Amazon. Vanderlande has over 5,000 employees worldwide, and this summer opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing and distribution center in Acworth, Georgia. Vanderlande invested in this center with a view to reducing lead times and costs for Vanderlande’s North American customer base.
Image360 Kennesaw has been a valued supplier to Vanderlande since 2008. For the new facility, we were tasked with supplying over 170 signs – including building channel letters, post and panel directional signs, interior dimensional letters for the office area, warehouse production signs, rack signage, dock bay signage, and a giant 25’ square company vision banner. In only six weeks we completed design, permitting, production and installation – in time for the Vanderlande grand opening celebration!
