Most municipalities require a permit before an exterior sign can be installed. Typically, garage sale signs, residential real estate signs and political signs are exempted, but almost all others – including building signs, promotional signs and monument signs require sign permits. Illuminated signs may also need electrical permits, while canopies and other signage solutions can require large and more detailed building permits.

Image360 can assist with all aspects of sign permitting. Before starting on your signage project, we’ll research the signage laws in your city so as to ensure our concepts are within local codes. In addition, we’ll help in preparing any necessary sign applications, most of which require a description of the sign’s materials, measurements and more – including the submission of sketches, site plans and cost estimates.
